The idea for this business started after a trip back to Wisconsin with my family. I realized people were spending $50–$60 on candles when I believed I could create something just as good — or even better — for a more honest and affordable price. That became the goal behind Winegar’s Kandle & Co.: luxury-feeling products without luxury pricing.

Every scent is created to tell a story or bring a feeling to life. Whether it’s the fresh mountain air of Evergreen Rain, the tropical calm of Island Breeze, or the cozy coffee-shop comfort of Morning Roast, every candle and air freshener is designed to make your home, car, or space feel warm, relaxing, and inviting.

But this business is about more than candles.

Faith is the biggest reason this business exists.

A portion of every purchase helps support Young Life, an organization that changed my life personally. After attending Young Life camp in Malibu, I found God in a way I never had before. That experience meant so much to me that I wanted this business to help give other students the same opportunity to experience faith, friendship, and life-changing moments like I did.

Right now, $2 from every candle sold goes toward helping support Young Life and helping students get the opportunity to attend camp and experience the same life-changing environment that impacted me. As this business continues to grow, my hope is to continue increasing donations and give even more back to Young Life in the future.

My goal for Winegar’s Kandle & Co. is to continue growing, support my community, create products people genuinely love, and someday hopefully have locations in many different places while still keeping the small-business heart behind everything we do.
